Will Call lets you reserve your hands in the app and complete payment directly with the event organizer later (instead of paying online).
This guide explains what to expect on event day.
📝 What Happens When You Choose Will Call?
When you select Will Call at checkout:
Your hands are reserved
You do not pay in the app
You receive a payment deadline
You see pickup instructions from the organizer
Examples of instructions may include:
“Visit the Will Call table at check-in.”
“Pay at the registration booth.”
“Send payment via Venmo before arrival.”
Each event may handle Will Call differently — always follow the organizer’s instructions.
📍 What To Do on Event Day
Step 1: Complete Payment
Go to the location specified in the event instructions and complete your payment.
This may include:
Cash
Check
Venmo or Zelle
On-site payment methods set by the organizer
⚠️ The Aces app does not process Will Call payments.
Step 2: Get Checked In
After payment, the organizer will:
Scan your registration QR code, or
Confirm your check-in manually
Once checked in:
Your hands become active
You can begin receiving cards at stops
You will appear on the live leaderboard
⚠️ Important
If you are not checked in, you will:
Not receive cards
Not appear on the leaderboard
Not be included if the organizer deals remaining cards
If the event closes before you check in, your hands will remain inactive.
🕒 Payment Deadline
Your Will Call registration includes a payment deadline.
If you do not complete payment by that time:
The organizer may cancel your registration
Your hands may not be activated
If you’re running late, contact the event organizer directly.
🔄 Can I Switch to Paying Online Instead?
If you prefer to pay online:
You must register again using Credit Card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay (if available).
Will Call payments cannot be converted to online payments after registration.
