The Extra Card Option is a strategic and flexible fundraising tool that lets participants purchase an additional card for their poker hand β increasing their odds of winning while supporting your cause.
π‘ What Is the Extra Card Option?
By default, participants are dealt 5 cards during an event.
When the Extra Card Option is enabled:
Participants can buy 1 additional card (e.g., 6th card in a 5-card hand format)
They choose whether or not to purchase it
It adds an element of game strategy and supports event fundraising
Important Limitation:
If your event is set to 10 cards per hand in the Card Setup & Stop Rules screen, the Extra Card Option is not available.
To offer extra cards, set the event to 9 or fewer cards per hand.
