Each stop in your Aces Poker Run event is a location where participants will go during your event to typically receive a playing card. Here's how to create and configure a stop during your event setup.
📍 Where to Find It
Navigate to Manage Events
Select your event
Click the pencil icon next to “Event Stops”
To create a new stop, click “Add New Stop”
To edit an existing stop, click the ellipsis (⋯) next to the stop and choose Edit
✍️ Stop Setup Fields
Field | Description |
Stop Location | Start typing an address or venue name. Aces will auto-complete based on your input. (Required) |
Label | Optional nickname for the stop (e.g., “Start Line – Marina Dock”). |
Begin Time | The time the stop opens (e.g., 8:00 AM). Participants can’t receive cards before this. (Required) |
End Time | The time the stop closes (e.g., 9:00 AM). Cards won’t be dealt after this. (Required) |
Begin Date / End Date | These will appear if your event is marked as multi-day. Otherwise, the event’s default date will apply automatically. |
Cards Dealt at This Stop | Choose how many cards are distributed here. Most runs use 1 per stop. |
Additional Information | Optional instructions or notes for participants (e.g., “Look for our tent near the dock entrance”). Max 500 characters. |
🧭 Tips for Stop Setup
➕ You can add multiple stops — just repeat this process.
🔄 Use the Reorder Stops option if needed.
⚠️ Ensure Begin Time is before End Time — validation will prevent saving otherwise.
📅 For multi-day events, stop dates must align with the event date range.
💾 Saving Your Stop
Click “Save” to finalize your stop and return to the stop list.
Use “Cancel” to discard changes and return without saving.

Stop Location: Art & Jake’s Sports Bar
Label: Stop 1 – Check-in
Begin Time: 8:00 AM
End Time: 9:00 AM
Cards Dealt: 1
Notes: “Check-in and grab your wristbands at the patio tent.”

Check that Begin Time is before End Time
If multi-day, ensure the dates are within your event’s duration
