This screen lets you set options like event fee, extra cards, and online processing fees. It allows you to configure how your event charges participants for hands, whether extra cards are available, and who pays Stripe’s online processing fees.
📍 Where to Find It
You can access this screen when creating a new event or by editing an existing one:
Manage Events > Select Event > Edit Event Items
🧾 Fee per Hand
This is the base price each participant pays per hand/registration.
✅ This field is required
This fee is the amount charged for each hand sold to participate in your event
💳 Collect Fees in App
This is ON by default and is used to sell hands/registrations online using Stripe.
⛔ If you deselect this, you can sell hands in person and collect fees offline
(🎉 This is a limited-time promotional option)
💡 Note: We’ve found that the best events get the majority of participants registered before the event day.
This ensures smoother check-ins, better planning, and less stress.

🏷 Customer Pays Stripe Processing Fee
This toggle controls who pays Stripe’s standard online processing fees (2.9% + $0.30 per transaction):
✅ ON (default): Stripe fees are added to the participant’s total. It appears as a standard online service fee.
⛔ OFF: Stripe fees are absorbed by your organization and deducted from your payout.

🃏 Allow Extra Cards
Enable this to allow participants to purchase extra cards in addition to their base hand.
Common for fundraisers or strategic poker formats
You’ll need to set a price for extra cards

💵 Extra Card Fee
When “Allow Extra Cards” is enabled, this field becomes required.
Required if extra cards are enabled
Must be a positive dollar amount (e.g., $5.00)
⏱ Allow Purchase After Registration
This optional toggle controls whether participants can purchase extra cards after their initial registration.
✅ ON: Participants can buy extra cards until the third card is dealt
⛔ OFF: Extra cards must be purchased at the time of registration
