Aces Poker Run gives event organizers the option to require participants to review and accept a waiver during registration. This is especially useful for events involving vehicles, physical activity, or water where liability protection is important.

📍 Where to Find It

You can configure your waiver by editing an existing event:

Manage Events > Select Event > Edit Waiver

🔐 Enabling the Waiver

The waiver feature is optional and is off by default.

To enable it:

  1. Toggle “Require participant to sign a waiver” to ON

  2. Click Upload Waiver

  3. Upload a file in one of the following formats: PDF, PNG, JPG

  4. Click Save

✅ Once enabled, participants will be required to review and accept the waiver in the app on their mobile device before they can complete registration.

👀 How Participants See the Waiver

  • Participants are prompted to view and accept the waiver during registration.

  • They must accept the waiver before their registration is considered complete.

  • ⛔ Participants will not receive cards until the waiver is accepted.

📊 Tracking Waiver Acceptances

  • A record of each participant’s waiver acceptance is available in the Reports section of your event dashboard.

  • You can download a full list of who accepted the waiver for your legal and recordkeeping purposes.

❌ Disabling the Waiver

If you no longer want to require a waiver:

  • Simply toggle the setting OFF.

  • Participants will not be prompted, and no acceptance tracking will occur.

💡 Best Practices

  • Use clear, concise language in your waiver.

  • Upload in PDF format for best cross-device compatibility.

  • Upload one waiver per event. If you revise it, simply re-upload the new file.
