You can invite additional people to help run your event by assigning them as Event Managers. Managers can scan trackers, manage hands, or even update event settings — depending on their role.
This feature is perfect for organizing larger events where responsibilities need to be shared.
📍 Where to Find It
Manage Events > Select Event > Edit Event Managers
You can also access this from your event summary screen under the “Event Managers” section.
🧑💼 Manager Roles
When inviting a manager, you can choose from two roles:
Role | Permissions |
Assistant | Can scan trackers, manage hands, and sell extra cards. Cannot edit event settings or payouts. |
Admin | Can edit all event settings, including card rules, pricing, and logistics. Cannot configure or edit payouts — only the event organizer can do that. |
➕ Adding an Event Manager
Tap “Add New Manager”
Enter the manager’s name
Choose their role: Admin or Assistant
Tap “Save and Share”
Once saved, your device’s native sharing options will appear (text, email, AirDrop, etc.). You can send the invite however you prefer.
✉️ What Happens Next?
The person you invite will receive a message prompting them to accept the invite.
Until they accept, their name will display as “Waiting to be accepted” in your event manager list.
You can tap “Re-send Invite” or “Cancel Invite” if needed.
Once accepted:
✅ They’ll be fully added to the event as either an Assistant or Admin, based on your selection.
🔄 Managing Managers
From the Event Managers screen, you can:
View pending and active managers
Re-send or cancel invitations
Add new managers anytime before or during the event
ℹ️ Only the original event organizer can configure or change payout information — this cannot be delegated to admins or assistants.
✅ Common Uses for Event Managers
Assign a Tracker Assistant to check in participants at various stops
Add an Event Admin to update event details or manage registration flow
Use assistants to help with t-shirt pickup, raffle entries, or meal tickets
