The Event Info screen is where you enter and update your core event details โ like name, description, event type, and visibility settings. Itโs the first step to launching your event through Aces Poker Run.
๐ Where to Find It
To access this screen:
Manage Events > Select Event > Edit Event Info
โ๏ธ Basic Event Details
Field | Description |
Event Name | The name of your event as it will appear to participants |
Event Type | Select from categories like Boat, Snowmobile, Motorcycle, etc. |
Description | A short summary (up to 500 characters) describing your event |
Event Date | The primary day the event takes place |
Registration Start Date | When participants can begin registering through the app |
๐ This is a Multi-Day Event
Enable this if your event runs across multiple days.
When selected:
Youโll be able to assign specific dates to individual stops
This helps you organize check-ins and card distribution over a multi-day schedule
๐ Require Code to Register
Use this to restrict registration access:
When toggled ON, you'll be prompted to enter a Registration Code
Only users who enter this code can join your event
Ideal for private events or invite-only groups
๐ Exclude from Search Results
Enable this option to make your event invisible to public searches.
Participants can still join via direct link or registration code
This is useful for private events, beta testing, or closed groups
๐ Limit the Number of Hands
Use this to cap the total number of registrations for your event.
When ON, youโll enter a Quantity (e.g., 400 hands max)
Once the cap is reached, registration will close automatically
๐พ Saving Your Event Info
After making changes, click โSaveโ to confirm your settings.
You can return to this screen at any time to update:
Dates
Descriptions
Privacy options
Participant limits
