The Home Screen is your main hub for discovering upcoming Aces Poker Run events. By default, you'll see events happening near your current location, and you can use filters to find exactly what you’re looking for.
📍 Default View: Events Near You
When you open the app, the Home tab displays a list of events based on your current GPS location.
Each event card shows:
🗓 Event name & date
📍 Location-based info
🎴 How cards are dealt (QR, GPS, Time Released)
✋ Number of hands available or sold
🔎 Searching for Events
Use the search bar at the top of the Home Screen to find a specific event by name.
Start typing and results will automatically filter
You can search for any public event not marked as private by the organizer
⚙️ Using Search Filters
Tap the filter icon (next to the search bar) to access advanced filters:
Filter | Description |
Event Location | Search near your current location, or enter a different city or ZIP code |
Radius | Set how far out to search (e.g., 25, 50, or 100 miles) |
Event Type | Filter by type (e.g., Boat, Motorcycle, Snowmobile) |
Date Range | Choose a start and end date to find events during a specific time period |
Exclude Events with Hand Fee | Show only free-to-register events (no per-hand fee required) |
After setting your filters, tap “Done” to update the event list.
📌 Notes on Event Visibility
Events excluded from search by the organizer will not appear, even if they’re near you
To join a private or invite-only event, you’ll need a direct link or registration code
