If your Aces Poker Run event uses QR Code Scanning as the card dealing method, you’ll need to print Check-In QR Codes for each stop. These printed codes allow participants to scan and receive their cards at the appropriate locations.

📍 Where to Find It

To access and print your check-in QR codes:

Manage Events > Select Event > Tap “More event options” > Select “Check-In QR Codes”

🗂️ QR Code Display Options

Once you open the Check-In QR Code screen, you’ll see a scrollable list of printed QR codes for each of your stops.

You can choose between two layout formats:

🖼️ Full Display Mode (Default)

  • Includes event branding and instructions

  • Ideal for public display or when giving directions to volunteers

  • Features the event name, stop label, and 4-step visual scan instructions

🔲 QR Codes Only (Toggle ON)

  • Minimalist design with only the QR code and check-in code

  • Ideal for compact signs or black-and-white printing

  • Toggle this option using “Print QR codes only?” at the top of the screen

🖨️ How to Print or Save as PDF

  • Tap the Print button at the top of the screen

  • Your device will bring up the default print dialog

  • From here, you can:

    • Print using a connected printer

    • Save as PDF (on most systems, select “Save as PDF” under printer options)

You can print one or both versions of the codes depending on your event’s signage needs.

⚠️ Important Notes

  • Do not print your QR codes until your event setup is complete

    • QR codes are linked to your stop setup

    • Changing, deleting, or reordering stops can cause codes to change

  • 🔄 If you update your stops after printing:

    • Always return to this screen and re-print or re-save your QR codes

    • Confirm the printed stop codes match the app version before your event begins

🧠 Tips

  • Laminate printed QR codes for use in wet or outdoor conditions

  • Tape each sign securely at participant eye level

  • Print a few backups in case of last-minute stop changes or weather damage
