As an event organizer, you can control when participants are allowed to register for your event. You can close registration at any time to stop new entries and reopen it if you’d like to allow more participants to join.

📍 Where to Find It

To open or close registration:

Manage Events > Select Event > Tap “More event options” > Choose “Close Registration” or “Open Registration”

The system will prompt you to confirm your action before changes are applied.

🔁 What Happens When You Close Registration?

When registration is closed:

  • No new participants can register

  • The “Register” button is removed from the event page

  • The event remains visible (unless also hidden from search)

  • Current participants still have full access

This is helpful when:

  • Your event is full

  • You’re close to the start time

  • You want to manually control access

✅ Reopening Registration

You can reopen registration at any time to:

  • Allow more users to join

  • Re-enable last-minute signups

  • Resume registration after temporarily pausing

Once reopened:

  • The event becomes active again for new participants

  • The registration button is restored on the event page

🧠 Tips

  • 🛑 Consider closing registration the day before your event to finalize logistics

  • 🕒 Use reopening strategically to allow for overflow or second waves of participants

  • 📋 Check your Reports tab before reopening to review current registration levels
