Send a Browser Link to a Registered Participant

How to send a registered participant a link so they can view their event details in a browser — no app installation required.

Written by Aces Help

The Send Browser Link feature lets you send a registered participant a link to view their event details in a standard web browser — without needing the Aces Poker Run app installed. This is useful for participants who haven't downloaded the app yet, are having trouble with it, or prefer to reference their event info from a desktop or browser.

📍 Where to Find It

Manage Events → Select Event → Participants → Tap a Participant → Send Browser Link

📤 How to Send the Link

  1. Go to Manage Events and select your event

  2. Tap Participants

  3. Tap the participant you want to send the link to

  4. Tap Send Browser Link

  5. Your device's share menu will open — send it via text, email, or any other method

The link is unique to that participant's registration. Only that participant should use it.

👁 What the Participant Sees

When the participant opens the link in a browser, they'll see a view of their registered event including:

  • Event info — event name, date, and details

  • Their registration — hand(s) purchased and current card status

  • Event stops — the stop list and their check-in progress

  • Contact Organizer — your contact name, phone, and email (if configured)

The browser view is a read-only reference. Participants cannot scan QR codes or trigger GPS check-ins from the browser — those actions require the app.

💡 When to Use This

  • A participant hasn't downloaded the app and wants to see their registration details

  • A participant is having app trouble and needs a quick way to reference event info

  • A participant wants to view their event on a desktop browser

  • You want to give a participant quick access to your contact info
