When creating an event in Aces Poker Run, youβll choose a Sales Method. This determines how participants register and how payments are collected.
Selecting the right option depends on how you want to manage registrations, collect funds, and streamline event-day check-in.

In-App Sales (Recommended)
In-Person Sales
Test/Small Event (Up to 10 Participants)

Best for most events. Fully automated.
Participants purchase hands directly in the app. Registration and payments are processed by Stripe, and funds are deposited directly into your connected bank account.

Hands are automatically created in their account

Even when using In-App Sales, you can enable Will Call for additional flexibility.
This allows participants to:
Register online
Select βWill Callβ as their payment method
Pay you in person at the event
Still be fully registered in the system ahead of time
This is ideal if:
You want online registration
But prefer to collect some payments in person

Best if you are collecting payments manually.
With In-Person Sales, you collect registration fees outside the app (cash, checks, or another ticketing platform).
The app will not process payments.

Events that prefer cash handling
Locations with limited internet
Organizations using an external ticketing system
