When creating an event in Aces Poker Run, you’ll choose a Sales Method. This determines how participants register and how payments are collected.
Selecting the right option depends on how you want to manage registrations, collect funds, and streamline event-day check-in.
📋 Available Sales Methods
You can choose from three options:
In-App Sales (Recommended)
In-Person Sales
Test/Small Event (Up to 10 Participants)
💳 In-App Sales (Recommended)
Best for most events. Fully automated.
Participants purchase hands directly in the app. Registration and payments are processed by Stripe, and funds are deposited directly into your connected bank account.
How It Works
Participants register online
They pay securely through Stripe
Hands are automatically created in their account
Funds are transferred to your Stripe account

💡 Big Advantage:
Participants download the app, log in, and register before they arrive. On event day, they are ready to go — no lines, no confusion, no delays.
🧾 In-App Sales + Will Call Option
Even when using In-App Sales, you can enable Will Call for additional flexibility.
This allows participants to:
Register online
Select “Will Call” as their payment method
Pay you in person at the event
Still be fully registered in the system ahead of time
This is ideal if:
You want online registration
But prefer to collect some payments in person
💵 In-Person Sales
Best if you are collecting payments manually.
With In-Person Sales, you collect registration fees outside the app (cash, checks, or another ticketing platform).
The app will not process payments.
How It Works
You collect money manually
You create hands using the Manage Hands feature
You can share hands with participants
This works well for:
Events that prefer cash handling
Locations with limited internet
Organizations using an external ticketing system
🔄 In-Person Sales + Optional Online Registration (Recommended Hybrid)
If you choose In-Person Sales, you can still enable Will Call to allow participants to register online.
We strongly recommend this setup when possible.

One hand per participant (10 hands total max)
This is great for:
Learning the app
Running a demo
Small family or friends event
Testing setup before a larger event
💡 We recommend making test events private and password protected so others do not accidentally register.
