To host an event on Aces Poker Run, a valid payment method must be added to your account. This payment method is used to cover the per-hand Aces Poker Run licensing fee.
No charges are made at the time you add the payment method.
Why Is a Payment Method Required?
A payment method is required to:
Cover Aces Poker Run licensing fees per hand sold
Ensure uninterrupted event functionality
Allow publishing of events that require licensing
This payment method is separate from your Stripe payout account.
How to Add a Payment Method
📍 Step 1: Go to Event Management
Open the Aces Poker Run app
Tap Manage Events (bottom navigation)
Select the event you want to manage
💳 Step 2: Open Payout & Payment Methods
If no payment method has been added, you will see a Payment Method Setup button — tap it.
If a payment method already exists, tap the pencil icon next to Payout and Payment Methods to edit.
This will open the Payout and Payment Methods screen.
➕ Step 3: Add a Payment Method
If no payment method is on file:
Tap Add Payment Method
Choose one of the following options:
Credit/Debit Card
Apple Pay (iOS devices)
Google Pay (Android devices)
Enter your card details or select your digital wallet option and tap Save Card.
✅ Step 4: Confirm Selection
After adding your payment method:
It should automatically be marked as Selected
If it is not selected, tap the three dots (•••) next to the card
Choose Select
You may also use this menu to delete a saved payment method.
What Happens Next?
Your payment method is now securely stored
It will be available for this event and all future events
You can add, remove, or change payment methods at any time
To make changes, return to:
Manage Events → Select Event → Payout and Payment Methods
Important Notes
No charge is made when adding your card
Charges only occur when licensing fees are applied
This payment method is separate from Stripe payouts
Your Stripe account handles participant payments
This payment method covers Aces Poker Run platform fees
