What Is Will Call Sales?
Will Call Sales allows participants to:
Register online in advance
Create an account and download the app
Secure their spot in the event
Pay in person at check-in
This combines the convenience of online registration with the flexibility of collecting payment on-site.
💡 We highly recommend enabling online registration to avoid long lines and delays at your event. When participants arrive already registered, check-in is fast and simple.
How Will Call Works
When Will Call is enabled:
Participants will see a “Pay at Will Call” option during online registration.
They can complete registration without paying immediately.
They will receive instructions on where to check in and complete payment.
Once payment is collected in person, you can finalize their participation using the app.
You can:
Use Will Call alongside normal In-App Sales
Use Will Call as your only payment method
Manually create and manage hands using the Manage Hands feature
How to Enable Will Call Sales
Step 1: Go to Manage Events
Tap Manage Events from the bottom navigation.
Select the event you want to edit.
Tap the ✏️ pencil icon next to Sales & Event Items.
Step 2: Enable Allow Will-Call Sales
Toggle Allow Will-Call Sales ON.
Additional Will Call configuration options will appear.
Step 3: Add Will Call Pickup Details
Under Will Call Pickup Details, enter clear instructions for participants.
Be specific and informative. For example:
“Go to the Will Call table when you arrive.”
“Check in at the registration booth near the clubhouse.”
“See Kim to complete payment and receive your hands.”
The more detailed your instructions are, the smoother your check-in process will be.
Step 4: Set Will Call Sales Cutoff
Choose the date and time when Will Call registrations should stop.
Important considerations:
If Will Call ends before the event begins, set the cutoff to your event start time.
After the cutoff date/time, the Will Call purchase option will no longer be available.
If you are also offering online paid registration, those sales can continue (if allowed in your event settings).
Step 5: Save Your Changes
Tap Save to activate Will Call for your event.
Will Call is now enabled.
Important Requirements
Payment Method Is Required
Even if you are collecting payment in person, you must add a payment method to your event.
We use this payment method to process per-hand licensing fees associated with your event.
If you have not set up a payout method:
Go to Event Management
Locate Payout Method
Complete your Stripe setup

Combining Will Call with Other Sales Methods
You can:
Enable both In-App Sales and Will Call
Allow participants to choose how they want to pay
Continue selling online while offering in-person payment
Manually create hands if needed using Manage Hands
This gives you maximum flexibility for different event types.
Best Practices
✅ Encourage online registration to reduce event-day congestion
✅ Provide very clear pickup instructions
✅ Set a realistic Will Call cutoff time
✅ Train volunteers on how to quickly locate and finalize registrations
✅ Test the process before your event day
